I designed a set of three walking trail leaflets for Bassenthwaite Reflections.

To create the scrapbook feel, I used textures such as cardboard, lined and torn paper, paper clips and tape. All the illustrations were hand drawn and coloured using spray paint to give a more authentic feel.

The leaflets were nominated in the 2011 Print & Design Awards in the category for ‘Best of Recycled’

    Free Rein Travel Planner

As part of my final project for BA(Hons) Multimedia Design, I set out to create an adventure travel planner aimed at students and young people that enables the user to plan a trip to a budget, and to monitor this while they’re travelling.

The interactive planner allows the user to enter their budget, start and end dates and then thoroughly map out destinations, transportation options, accommodation, things to see and do, as well as adding customised notes whether it be booking references or a friends must see tip - their entire trip all in one accessible place.

If you would like to see a working prototype of the Free Rein Planner, If you would like to see a working prototype of the Free Rein Planner, please get in touch.

    Free Rein Travel Website

Following on from the Interactive Planner I created the website for Free Rein Travel.

The site allows users to ‘get inspired’ by first hand, real content from past or present travellers; allows fellow travellers to search destinations to see if other people may be there and ultimately gives the opportunity for friends and family to track loved ones whilst they are away - reading blog posts, viewing photos, seeing where they are in the world and communicating via comments and messages.
